Incorporating Windows Phone into STEM Curriculum
Later this fall, Microsoft will release the new Windows Phone 7 OS on a variety of sleek new phones. However, students and institutional developers do not need to wait for the consumer launch to start building apps. You can build the future today.
What I love about the new mobile economy is that a student living in Slidell, LA or Opelika, AL can build and put in market an app for a Windows Phone that creates a new stream of income without leaving home. They do not need to move to Redmond, Cupertino, or San Francisco to be career-ready.
Infusing the Windows Phone into STEM curriculum helps us to rethink how cities and towns can continue to grow and not lose to their youth to mega-metros.
Checkout the video from the Windows Phone team to learn how you can start incorporating Windows Phone into your STEM program and business application development.
